Product description

Leveling elements GN 355.2 are used for leveling and adjustment in machines and systems.

They consist of a leveling screw, a socket cap screw, a flat washer and a spherical washer. The leveling screw and the spherical washer are captively connected together.

The outer diameter d₄ of the spherical washer is smaller than the thread core diameter d₁, making mounting possible even when the contact surface is inaccessible.

After making the adjustment using the assembly tool GN 355.1, the screw is tightened firmly, causing the leveling screw and the DIN 6319 spherical washer underneath to spread, and thus be secured against twisting in the tapped hole.

The values for w and x as well as the static loads given in the table are to be considered reference values, which may differ depending on the conditions of the specific application. In general, they do not constitute a warranty of condition; the user must determine whether the product is suitable for any particular intended purpose.
