Product description
The adjustment screw in hinges GN 437 allows the movement of the hinge to be constrained and adds a friction adjustment which controls the swinging of doors and flaps to eliminate inadvertent movement.
The friction is accomplished by interlocking two slim friction cones that can be adjusted as needed with the adjustment screw. The large friction surface and the low-wear plastic of the friction cones guarantee a long service life with only a slight drop in the friction torque.
Due to the construction and the use of the friction cones, the hinge has hardly any radial play and no axial play at all.
